2022 Tour de France Route

The 2022 Tour de France will take place between 01st July to 24th July,  with the Grand Depart taking place in Denmark. Next year’s race will be the 109th edition of this world-famous race.

Copenhagen and its surrounding area’s will play host to the first three stages of the 2022 Tour de France with the first stage taking place on the 01st of July. The riders in the 2022 Tour de France will cover a distance of 3328 kilometres of cycling, which is 2067 miles.

For the first time since 2017, the  2022 Tour de France will visit four countries with stages in Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, and France making it a real multinational event.

The climbing stages are spread across four mountains ranges, the Vosges, the Alps, the Massif Central, and the Pyrenees. In total there will be 6 mountain stages, which include 5 mountain top finishes.

The 2022 Tour de France will finish as normal in Paris on the Champs-Elysees on the 24th of July.

Stage 2: Saturday 02nd July – 199km Roskilde to Nyborg

Stage 3: Sunday 03rd July – 182km Velje to Sonderborg

Rest Day: Monday 04th July – Transfer Day

Stage 4: Tuesday 05th July – 172km Dunkirk to Calais

Stage 5: Wednesday 06th July – 155km Lille to Wallers Arenberg du Hainaut

Stage 6: Thursday 07th July – 220km Binche to Longwy

Stage 7: Friday 08th July – 176km Tomblaine to La Super Planche des Belles Filles

Stage 8: Saturday 09th July – 186km Dole to Lausanne

Stage 9: Sunday 10th July – Aigle to Les Chatel Portes du Soleil

Rest Day: Monday 11th July

Stage 10: Tuesday 12th July – 148km Morzine to Megeve

Stage 11: Wednesday 13th July – 149km Albertville to Col du Granon

Stage 12: Thursday 14th July – 166km Briancon to Alpe d’Huez

Stage 13: Friday 15th July – 193km Bourg d’Oisans to Saint-Etienne

Stage 14: Saturday 16th July – 195km Saint-Etienne to Mende

Stage 15: Sunday 17th July – 200km Rodez to Carcassonne
