2022 Tour de France Route
The 2022 Tour de France will take place between 01st July to 24th July, with the Grand Depart taking place in Denmark. Next year’s race will be the 109th edition of this world-famous race.
Copenhagen and its surrounding area’s will play host to the first three stages of the 2022 Tour de France with the first stage taking place on the 01st of July. The riders in the 2022 Tour de France will cover a distance of 3328 kilometres of cycling, which is 2067 miles.
For the first time since 2017, the 2022 Tour de France will visit four countries with stages in Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, and France making it a real multinational event.
The climbing stages are spread across four mountains ranges, the Vosges, the Alps, the Massif Central, and the Pyrenees. In total there will be 6 mountain stages, which include 5 mountain top finishes.
The 2022 Tour de France will finish as normal in Paris on the Champs-Elysees on the 24th of July.
